Greater Mohican Audubon Society (GMAS) is dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of birds and other wildlife through environmental education and the conservation and restoration of habitat.
Greater Mohican Audubon Society consists of Ashland, Holmes, Richland and Wayne Counties in North-central Ohio. The National Audubon Society recognized GMAS as an official chapter in May 1999. The bird chosen to represent GMAS is the handsome Bobolink.
